CIVIL / STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Seelenbinder Consulting Engineers cc, a well-established
Multi-disciplinary Consulting Engineering Firm in Namibia,
has a vacancy in their Windhoek Office for a:

Minimum Qualifications:
• M Eng (Civil)
• Professional Registration with ECN (Pr. Eng)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field of structural
engineering and Project Management.

Specific Skills
must be able to work independently and be proficient in
the:
• analysis, design, review and quality assurance of both
concrete and steel structures applicable to civil and
structural projects;
• preparation of structural details (concrete and structural
steel), including reinforcement layouts and bending
schedules;
• design of structural steel railway bridges with span
lengths in excess of 25m;
• d esign of large concrete structures (high rise buildings,
shopping malls, parking infrastructure etc.);
• design, review and quality assurance of concrete related
issues (mix designs, additives, fibres etc.) applicable to
civil and structural projects.

Have good communication and writing skills.
Have a strong ability to mentor junior graduate engineers.

Fully Fluent with:
• Microsoft Office: VBA programming
• Prokon
• Autodesk: Autocad
• Autodesk: Robot
• Autodesk: Revit
• Finite Element Modelling
