Parts Supervisor
Husab Mine
Key accountabilities:• To lead and manage the team conducting a specific parts process, while
meeting departmental objectives and delivering on all customer parts needs
and expectations
• Deliver customer service according to position relevant KPI’s (as per
Balanced Scorecard, SLA’s, MARC site or EMP contractual terms or CSA’s)
while meeting departmental financial targets
• Lead and manage a parts process team using “Great People Management”
principles, while following the BWE Leadership philosophy and
demonstrating value driven leadership
• Ensure the parts team works according to policies, principles and procedures
of the parts department
• Responsible and accountable for all the part warehouse functions at Husab
Mine
Qualifications & Experience• Graduate with 5 years experience in logistic/supply chain management
• Warehouse and supply chain experience
• Cross border imports and exports experience
• Parts logistics management
• Ms Office Applications and SAP literacy
• Business development skills and knowledge
• Track record leading people in a team-based/participative environment
• Experience in managing/supervising a parts/supply chain operation
• Sound parts business acumen
• Inventory control and management
• Participative Leadership
• Communication and Analytical Ability

• Valid driver’s license
Service Specialist (Drills)
Husab Mine
Key Accountabilities• Provide technical and mechanical assistants on CAT drills at Husab Mine
• Assist and advise on correct drilling practices
• Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly machine audits
• Lead Team/s in daily operational activities
• Provide technical support to service support teams and customers
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Resolve customer technical queries
• Ensure effective communication for the planning and control of services
and repairs. i.e. (allocation of mechanics to jobs)
• Identify repetitive failures and ensure effective investigations
• Conduct root cause failure analysis and reporting
• SIMS and DSN logging
• Improve CAT Drills reliability and availability
• Liaison with BWE LOB and OEM
• Product Support
Qualifications & Requirements:• Qualified Artisan Mechanic in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic /
Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) with minimum 5 years post-apprentice/
learnership experience)
• Experience in DTH, Rotary and Top Hammer drills
• Electrical, Pneumatic and Mechanical experience
• Troubleshooting skills & knowledge of CAT systems
• Computer Literate and knowledge of SIMS/ ET will be an advantage
• Ability to lead and conduct root cause analysis failures with technical
solutions
• Ability to prioritize machine breakdowns
• Valid driver’s license
SHEQ Manager
Windhoek
Key accountabilities:• SHE improvement plan for Namibia is compiled and maintained
• All material risks are identified and all required systems and processes are
defined and communicated. A legal register is maintained and action plan
implemented
• Other requirements are identified and action plans in place
• OHSAS 18001 accreditation is maintained, audit findings completed on
time and EMS ISO 14001 certification obtained
• All risks are identified and control effective at all times
• SHE training matrix is maintained
• All Sustainability initiatives are implemented as per the schedule
• Improvement in natural resource consumption as measured by efficiency
targets
• Monitoring programme is in place
• Incident management policy is implemented
• Report are submitted on time and of good quality
• Group projects are completed on brief, on budget and on time
Qualifications & Experience• Degree or Diploma in Safety Management and certificate in OHSAS 18001,
EMS ISO 14001, SAMTRAC
• 8-12 years experience in risk management
• Good communication skills
• Project management
• Report writing
• Business Acumen
• Ability to work independently, under pressure
• Willing to travel as and when required
• Show initiative by thinking creatively
• Code EB driver’s license
