Kalahari Anib Lodge is located about 30 km from Mariental and is an ideal stop-over for those heading to southern Namibia. Anib means 'male bird' in the local Nama dialect.
The lodge's main building consists of a reception area which is also a curio shop which stocks Namibia arts and crafts; locally produced cosmetics, toiletries, jewelry, clothing and ornaments. There is also a restaurant; a bar; a veranda and two swimming pools as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas. Breakfast is served buffet style with options of fruit; cereals; toast; preserves and fresh baked bread and cooked breakfast. Lunch is usually a light affair and dinner is an elaborate and delicious three-course meal.
Accommodation at the lodge consists of 28 rooms for tour groups and nine rooms for individual travelers.
Activities include guided morning drives or sun-downer drives; hiking trails; visits to the village of Stampriet and Hardap Dam.
