Corona is a fairly Namibian guest farm and is set in the center of a plateau and is surrounded by a mountain range. It is at the foot of the Gamsberg which stands at about 2347m, making it one of the highest mountains in Namibia. It is an ideal stop-over for those heading to see the dunes at Sossusvlei, or the port town of Walvis Bay and even the picturesque coastal town of Swakopmund.
There is an open-plan dining area and a lounge which are next to a small bar. The guest farm provides excellent cuisine including vegetarian dishes. There is also a large modern swimming pool for guests to enjoy.
Accommodation at Corona includes ten farmhouse rooms which are situated in and around the main farmhouse and these include four deluxe family size suites. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom. There are six standard room which are outside the in farmhouse. These are smaller than the indoor suites and have double beds as well as bed-side table and lights; writing desk and chair; en-suite bathroom and a shaded veranda. The four en-suite tents are further away from the farmhouse and have similar features as the other rooms.
Activities include swimming; collecting gemstones; mountain biking; scenic drives; day trips; joining in farm activities; game viewing of kudu or the mountain zebra; hikes to the top of the Gamsberg mountian as well as treks to see the Bushmen drawings.
